Hey y’all. It’s been a while. Here’s what we’ve been doing so far during the pandemic:

Our Taproom has been closed since mid-March. We miss you, and we miss pouring you beers. We can’t wait to see you in there again some day. We’re working on a re-opening plan that addresses the limitations of our space and airflow. It’s tricky. We’ll make a big announcement when we’re ready to reopen, but for now, thanks for your patience. The small upside is the daytime staff have a giant “office,” and the brewers have much more flexibility since they don’t need to be cleaned up by 4pm.

Our Growler Shop is open extra hours and we have everything available in crowlers, and 10 options for growler fills. Head on over to the Growler Shop page if you’re thinking about filling a growler – we have some COVID era policies. Our shop is open Wednesday – Friday 12-8pm, and Saturday – Sunday 12-6pm. If you see us in there outside those hours, we’re filling crowlers! We’ve had nearly everyone on staff join the packaging team to keep up with crowler demand. You keep us busy! You’ll always see our staff wearing masks, and Minneapolis requires that you wear one too.

Our merch game is as strong as ever! We have everything stocked in the shop (though we ask that you let our staff handle merchandise), and we’ll ship you merch via our online store.

DM Upstairs is still available for small private events. The capacity is limited to 30 people, but otherwise things are as normal as you can get these days up there. The light is always lovely upstairs, and the plants are loving the summer sun.

DM on-the-go is our new mobile DM program. We’ve so far hosted 2 events in our parking lot with Young Joni, with more events in the works. Follow us on social media to get updates on where we’ll be next.

Our staff, as always, have been rockstars. Things change weekly, sometimes daily, and this crew adapts and stays flexible and shows up. There have been lots of personal developments – new houses, new puppies, new babies and babies on-the-way; Camping and canoe trips; Time spent marching and donating and sweeping and reflecting. Time spent crying and being angry and having hard conversations. We’ve planted things and watched them grow. We’ve met our neighbors. We’re doing our best in these weird times, and that looks different each day.

There it is! That’s the quick version of the last 4 months (but what is time these days?). We’re looking forward to the day this is all over, but for now, we’ll keep brewing and we’ll see you in the Growler Shop.
