We’re incredibly fortunate to be part of such a bubbling, bright, and beautiful community in Minnesota. At Dangerous Man Brewing, we believe community is built through connection, care, and showing up for one another. DM Gives Back is our commitment to supporting the people, organizations, and places that make our community stronger. Through monthly donations, community partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and Dangerous Man swag donations, we strive to turn our values into action.

Our Community Mission

Our mission is to create a welcoming community hub that promotes care, connection, and belonging by bringing together neighbors, local businesses, and community partners to support and strengthen one another. We are committed to creating a welcoming space where people from all walks of life can gather, gather, connect, contribute, and feel like they belong.

Through DM Gives Back, we work to:

  • Provide support and care opportunities for our neighbors and our communities. 
  • Be a welcoming space that people gather to be a part of community, to build connections with people and businesses who live and work here. 
  • Support community organizations and their missions
  • Encourage community connection and citizen action
  • Support education and community development
  • Promote environmental and ecological sustainability
  • Support economic sustainability within our community
  • Create opportunities for people to gather, build relationships, and make a difference

Our giving focuses on organizations and initiatives connected to the communities we live, work, and gather in. We’re especially interested in supporting organizations and projects that help create a more connected, welcoming, and sustainable community.

Monthly Community Donations

MONTHLY COMMUNITY DONATIONS

Each month, Dangerous Man contributes to organizations and causes that align with our community mission. These monthly donations are one of the ways we put our values into practice and continue investing in the people and places around us. Every month, Dangerous Man supports a local organization or group with a $1 from every pour of a selected beer/beverage.

CURRENT DONATION LOCATION HIGHLIGHT

For September, donations from Dangerous Man’s Strawberry Belma and Mocktails as well as a dollar from every Og ZaZa pizza sold will be donated to support Webster Elementary School. 

Webster is located just a few blocks from the taproom, and is an amazing support for a lot of high-needs kiddos and families in our community. Webster Elementary serves:

  • 83% free and reduced lunch students
  • 26% special needs and services students
  • 20% homeless / highly mobile students
SUPPLY DRIVE

Throughout the month of September, will also be hosting a supply drive to support Webster Elementary School.

Community Partnerships

We’re proud to work alongside organizations throughout our community through volunteer events, partnerships, fundraising efforts, and other opportunities to lend a hand.

Some of our community connections have included:

  • Neighborhood Cleanups
  • Community Dinners at Grace Kitchen
  • Three Rivers Parks

Our partnerships and community involvement continue to evolve as new opportunities arise.

Dangerous Man Swag/Charitable Donations

CHARITABLE DONATION REQUEST

We are so fortunate to have this bubbling, bright, and beautiful community of Minneapolis supporting us. At Dangerous Man, we are dedicated to giving back to the incredible community we are part of. If you would like to inquire on behalf of your organization for DM in-kind donations, please fill out this survey.

Donation Guidelines:

We generally support organizations and events connected to:

  • Arts & culture
  • Environment and sustainability
  • Human services
  • Community Development & Mutual Aid
  • Community-focused initiatives
  • Education
  • Athletes or recreational teams

We do not currently provide donations for:

  • Individual fundraisers
  • Political organizations or campaigns
  • Religious activities

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  •  If your event is less than 30 days away, it will automatically be declined.
  • All donation requests must be submitted online. We do not accept paper or in-person donation requests.
  • You will be notified via email whether your request has been approved or denied within 2-3 weeks of submitting your request.
  • All gift bag donations must be picked up at Dangerous Man during open taproom hours. We do not deliver donations.

There are lots of ways to be part of DM Gives Back. You can support our community simply by showing up, volunteering your time, supporting local organizations, or helping us build connections with the people around us.
